The Empire State Youth Orchestra's CHIME program has expanded and has doubled its program membership of young musicians. CHIME was started to address fundamental inequities preventing universal access to high level music opportunities for youth. ESYO partnered with the Schenectady City School District and it’s been very successful and has allowed instruction and performing opportunities for students. The program is tuition free. Next Tuesday, December 12th at 5:30pm at Schenectady High School the students will perform for friends, family and the community. Becky Calos spoke with us about the program and the performance.
