On Saturday February 3 at 3PM at the Massry Center in Albany the Thalea Quartet will be performing “Something Golden” to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of WMHT Radio. Friends of Chamber Music won a NYSCA grant to commission this work from well known composer and musician Andrew Yee. Lauren Spaulding from the Thalea Quartet and composer Andrew Yee spoke with us about that World Premiere and the rest of the program.
