Composer Hilary Tann

Welsh-born composer Hilary Tann (1947-2023), lived in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains where she was the John Howard Payne Professor of Music Emerita at Union College. The Musicians of Ma'alwyck are presenting a concert in Tribute to Hilary Tann and they stopped by to discuss the program and perform some of Tann's Melangell Variations for Baritone, Flute and Piano. The performances are on January 27 at 3pm at the Old Saratoga Reformed Church, Schuylerville, and January 28 at 3 at the First Reformed Church of Scotia, with a pre-concert talk from 2:15-2:45 PM.
