Rhapsody in Red, White & Blue

GRAMMY-nominated PETER BOYER is one of the most frequently performed American orchestral composers of his generation. Boyer was commissioned by pianist Jeffrey Biegel to write a work celebrating the 100^th Anniversary of the premiere of George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. The result, Rhapsody in Red, White & Blue, recorded with the London Symphony, being released on Naxos, and a nationwide celebratory tour. Peter Boyer spoke with us about the work and the ambitious tour.
