Grammy Award–nominated composer with more than 70 works to her credit, she'll be the soloist for the World Premiere of her work Flow, performed as part of the American Music Festival. She'll also perform on Friday night of the Festival with her father, guitarist Sergio Assad. We spoke with her about her music, influences and these performances.
