Augustin Hadelich is one of the great violinists of our time. Known for his phenomenal technique, insightful and persuasive interpretations and ravishing tone, he tours extensively around the world, and he’s coming to Tanglewood this week, performing the thrilling Prokofiev Second Concerto with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. We spoke with Hadelich about the piece, his memories of Tanglewood and his instrument, which was previously owned by violinist Henryk Szering.
