Skidmore faculty member Evan Mack has had his works performed all around the world. Coming up on the 20th, world class singers Megan Marino and Michael Mayes will perform works written by Mack in a free recital at the Zankel Music Center on the campus of Skidmore in Saratoga. World premieres include “Love Songs for Married People” from the best-selling poems by John Kenney, “Stuff I’ve Been Feeling Lately” by best-selling author, Alicia Cook, and the English-Version premiere of “Letters from the Front Line” by a Ukrainian soldier and poet Pavlo Vyshebaba. We spoke with Evan Mack, mezzo-soprano Megan Marino and poet Alicia Cook about the recital.
