Pianist Alexandra Balog has been called a performer with “elemental force, virtuosity, and energy.” Winner of the 2017 Béla Bartók International Piano Competition and the recipient of a Fullbright Scholarship, she is currently studying at the Bard College Conservatory of Music. Balog makes her Carnegie Hall Debut on Tuesday, May 13, with a program called Exploring Inner Landscapes. We spoke with her about the program and about her path to that famous stage.
