The Balourdet Quartet return to the Hudson Valley Chamber Music Circle this Sunday June 1st to open their 75th anniversary season. Recently announced inaugural ensemble-in-residence with Seattle Chamber Music: winners of Chamber Music America’s Cleveland quartet award last year, the latest of their many prizes; they have their official Carnegie Hall debut coming up in December and the critics falling over themselves – “young, ebullient, and teeming with integrity and purpose” – “absolute musical perfection”.
