In its 68th year of bringing exceptional chamber music to New York's Hudson Valley Clarion Concerts will wrap the 2024-2025 season with its annual gala concert on Sunday, 14 June 2025 at 3pm. The concert and post-concert reception will take place in an antique barn at a private residence in Ancramdale, NY. The concert will be followed by a wine and hors d'oeuvres reception, where the artists and audience can mingle in a relaxed, beautiful setting.
The concert will feature GRAMMY®-nominated PUBLIQuartet ("... a respectful acknowledgment of the past and confident step into the future" -New York Times), an ensemble that combines improvisation with composed music, traditional Western classical music, and influences of Africa, South America, blues, gospel and other genres.
The new Artistic Director of Clarion Concerts, Melissa White, spoke with us about the event and her new role.
