Mary Darcy

Mary Darcy loves few things as much as a good story. As your classical companion weekday mornings here at WMHT, she delights in sharing the stories that connect audiences to the music, performers and composers – helping them understand and appreciate the work more deeply. Mary is an award winning host, producer, writer and performer. Her National Science Foundation series HerStory: Great Women of Science, hosted by Star Trek's Kate Mulgrew, earned two Gracie Allen Awards from American Women in Radio and Television, and her WMHT- TV documentary No Ordinary Lives received the New York State Broadcasters Award for outstanding documentary. Mary is executive producer for Goodnight Gracie Productions, dedicated to telling stories for radio, television, podcast, web and in live performance. She can be heard weekday mornings from 6-noon.
